green boreen

This boreen is bright green with the new spring grass. Ususally these old tiny lanes lead to houses or are used to move the animals from place to place, but this looks very well rested and secured with gates and barbed wire . I'd like to have a wee snoop one day.
This is on our 'round the block' cycle ride and takes in hills (lots of) and estuary, an abandoned little farm complex (another days blip) and a lovely long run along the coast, some of the swankiest houses in Schull (all safely hidden behind big gates and trees), lots of working farms and perpetual views of the sea.....and loads of head wind. Reminder to self > it's sooo good for the thighs and bottom darling!!!
I'm getting myself into the correct head space for going up to Cork tonight to work tomorrow and Friday (the 2 busiest days of the week, groan). On the up side Hubs is coming with me for tonight, he has an early train to Dublin tomorrow.
Am also trying to decide which of 3 lovely options to plum for this weekend.
