Worth going BIG

Wildly windy day with sudden tremendous episodes of sleet and rain. We had a very pleasant re- acquaintance with EarthyBob and TJ and after a quick lunch we headed out for a little of everything weatherwise with a walk up the hill behind Schull.
Long Island does a good job of sheltering Schull from The Altantic Sea. It looks like one big wave would swamp it, but it sits higher than it looks in this picture.
Thoroughly lovely homey evening with the fire, Mumma cat (who was very happy to have a lap and a fire again) an the TV (Mary Beard on the Romans....not bad).
