Rock Challenge Day

Finally made it to grim and grey Portsmouth and this beautiful old building the Guild Hall ... to be fair it is not really like that as everywhere yesterday ( as this is back blip) was grey.
Caite was competing in a dance competition with her school and it was held in Portsmouth just a few hours drive from home but hey ho thats what parents do .
It seemed like a bit of a hectic day for some reason more than usual
Anyway this was how it went
5 am - get up and MAKE packed breakfast , dinner and tea !!
6 am - DRIVE to school drop off child
7 am - Rob texts to say large PARCEL on worktop of bike wheels needs to go to city link by 9.30 am
8 am - sort other child and pack her off to school in car as PEEING down
9 am - squeeze very large box into MINI having to take roof down to get it in , in pouring rain !!!!
10 am - catch up on some work BORING
1130 am - walk dog in pouring rain with friend STRESSFUL
1245 pm - FINALLY get home after dog walk as Pebble ran off and would not come back ( Training going well this week )
330 pm - collect child from school and take to neighbour who is looking after her while I go to Portsmouth
350 pm FRANTICALLY try to find another neighbour who can have child as this neighbour / friend seems to have forgotten about my child and is not in or answering phone !!
4 pm - Lovely other friend / neighbour take Kirsten and say just GO ...
7 pm - Arrive at the VENUE ....
930pm - 8 minutes of DANCING by our kids
11pm - AWARDS ceremony ends and head home
130 am -HOME - cup of tea , pjs on and wait..
2 am - COME and get US
210 am - Get to school , wait , wait !!!
230 am - ARRIVE
235 am - CAR not start ..
240 am - PHONE a friend ... SORRY !!
310 am - RAC man arrive and HOME
PHEW ... Night Night
