RIP Nugget in Hamster Heaven
We have got to bury that hamster today I said to the wee one as she has now been on the window sill for nearly 2 weeks in a plastic box waiting a decent burial.
Poor Nugget the wee thing was un discovered for a few days when she first left this world and then stuffed in a plastic box out of the way in the garage so that she did not get eaten by the cats while we were away for the weekend.
Then she got flung about the garden by Pebble like and old rag ( which btw, kirsten does not know ) only to be rescued by me thank goodness before she was munched.
Then we went off for another weekend and she was stashed on the window sill out of the way of pets again !! I daren't open the box when i got back as I think the smell of decomposing hamster may have been gagging !!
Finally on monday I said right thats it lets bury Nugget ... poor thing has already been replaced by squeak and not even in the ground the least we can do is give him a send off.
So armed with spade and flowers we headed to the spot where Popsie was buried so they could RIP together in Hamster Heaven. After a few nice words and a flurry of tears job done.
I think I am going to leave instructions for what I would like to happen when I go as not sure I fancy an ice cream tub in the front garden ...
These are the flowers on the grave a bit late but at least it was pretty
