Hitching a ride

After yesterday's long walk, we woke to find that David really was rather unwell. After braving the first leg of the walk to Bamboo and then to Sinuwa, it was clear he couldn't make the final and most gruelling part of the day..the many, many steep stones steps to Chomrong.

Call in the cavalry. Well, this wee fella. He had the pleasure of taking Dad-in-Law on the final leg of the journey and did a sterling job...we were all knackered and he was fresh as a daisy...well, maybe not. A hasty retreat to bed was the order of the day for D as we ate and planned the strategy for the next few days of trekking.
