Still falling!

Up on the moors this morning I was astonished at how many trees are still toppling over due to the storms a few weeks ago. I think some of the ones which were weakened have finally slid over due to the very wet earth. It always amazes me how shallow the roots are. Very cold today always threatening to rain.
