Splash of colour!!

It's been a lovely day here but now it's 7.30 and the sky is darkening with the clouds about to dump torrential rain on us overnight. Looking out our kitchen window I'm always cheered by this lovely colour at the end of the garden. It acts as a real transition from the spring bulbs to early summer when our back garden really comes to life. In fact I'm struck by how summer orientated our garden has become and am resolved to do a major overhaul to make it more interesting all year round. Over the last two years since we started going regularly to castle Sween at weekends we've only done enough in the garden to tick things over and now the neglect really shows!! Am quite looking forward to changing things about. Here's hoping for some good weather !
