dark again

i don't like this whole nights drawing in thing, i liked it when i was coming home from work at 10pm in june and it was light, not this dark thing. by christmas, i'll be off to work in the twilight gloom and it'll be dark not long after 4pm :-(

hmm, how cheerful! it's been a day... after a night in which i wondered if the blokes i know have some kind of radar to tell when i'm screwed up and use that precise moment to get in touch after years and suggest a little something that has no strings... i had to laugh in a way, tho it's kinda painful that they can't come out of the woodwork when i'd like them to! and of course silence reigns from the one quarter i want to hear from above all others. *sigh*
