Round About Art

I was on the road home this evening when I had an idea for a cycle route around the wee county. For such a small county, we have loads of public art installations besides all of the Andy Scott pieces dotted around the various roundabouts* like the 'River Spirit' sculpture here. Some are a bit harder to track down (came across some tucked away and almost forgotten chickens and a wolf made out of old bicycle bits on my ride tonight), but I'd say almost all are easily accessible by bike.

So the plan is to put together a wee route that takes in as many of them as possible, head out and photograph them, then hopefully share the route for others to try.

*The sculpture that was taken out by a stolen car last year is due back any day now, so we'll be back to our full quota of Andy Scott's.
