Old Bridge, New Bridge

There's still a bit of tidying up to be done, not least some attention given to the rather unpleasant graffiti that adorns the old sign here, but the old rail bridge across the River Devon has been re-opened in the past couple of days.

It all looked a bit different a couple of years back but now that it's open it'll allow traffic free walking and cycling down to the hillfoots and along the Ochil Hills. Even today, although there's been no official announcement that I know of, there were dozens of cyclists and walkers making cross border excursions from Tullibody to Menstrie and vice versa.

I walked down there today, depending on how wild the birthday party we're off to goes tonight, I'll hopefully get along there on the bike tomorrow and see where it takes us.
