Ancestral home!

Today we went with the outlaws to Newstead Abbey the family home of Lord Byron who could not afford to keep the property he inherited from his uncle (which was in a poor state of repair when he inherited it). He therefore sold it to his friend Colonel Thomas Wildman who restored the property to it's current state. Most visitors go because of their interest in the life of Lord Byron however our interest was also in Thomas Wildman as this is my married name. We are yet to discover if there is a definite link as Thomas Wildman did not leave any family so the property was sold.

I did take a shot of the property I liked however as I blipped St Georges Chapel on my last blip I decided to blip this guy who was parading around the entrance to the cafe!
