Westgate Rescue

Westgate Rescue is the coastguard boat that operates out of Port Taranaki. Today it was working as a temporary pilot launch taking the Port's pilot out to the incoming tanker "Savannah". The pilot can be seen standing on Savannah's fly-bridge in the top of the photograph.

Tug "Ngahue" was one of two tugs working in unison to turn Savannah around for berthing.
