Seedlings

I wasn't going to try growing tomatoes from seed - I bought a pack of six different varieties of tomato plants over the Easter weekend, and they are thriving in growbags.

But I had a packet of seeds for an Italian variety (can't remember the name & now can't read the label!) so I thought I'd try them out in the propagator. It works! I didn't think there were that many seeds in the packet and I've probably not sown them thinly enough. This is the tray after I've transplanted 60 into little pots to grow on a bit more.

Still time for me to kill them off, but I'm hoping at least some of them thrive, maybe not all 60!
