........Copacabana

Didn't expect to be lunching today in Copacabana! This weekend's been planned for a couple of weeks but our original flights were for the evening but Bb surprised me by changing them to early morning flights so we arrived at our apartment at 10.30am this morning. Don't ask what time we got up! This is the view towards the fort and Ipanema (away from Sugar Loaf/Pao de Azucar) from the Othon Palace Hotel, where we came to get these shots. SP is great...really, but arriving in Rio feels like coming home now and it really is 'A Cidade Maravillosa'!
