Tulip progress

This morning Chris had arranged for all the cars (my son's included) to be washed and valeted so I did try a reflection of the sky in shiny bonnets (orange; grey and green) but they weren't too good it being rather dull.

About lunchtime the sun came out briefly so I tried the garden aiming to take the Stellar Magnolia. I'm not sure why - maybe because it is white - I seem to be having difficulty getting a really crisp shot of the flowers, but right next to it are the tulips I took last Monday..
As you can see they have made quite a bit of progress despite the poor weather.
