Elland

I have begun to feel that some of my recent blips have been rather literal and safe. So, I have decided to go with my instincts and choose what I think is the best picture of a day's crop, rather than the most descriptive of the place I am photographing.

Today I spent some time in Elland, wandering around a pleasant small town with some really interesting buildings, notably including the fabulous, tiny, still working Rex Cinema, which almost became my blip.

But I chose this abstract one to test opinion.
