couple............

OK BEFORE ANYONE STARTS GETTING EXCITED THIS IS NOT A SHOT OF AN OLD PICTURE!

it is in fact a shot of a headstone that i pass quite regularly (depending on which way i walk with the dog). the reason i took a shot of it was that the headstone went up in 1942 and i couldn't believe how well it is lasting but as many of us say "they just don't make 'em like they used to." this is especially true in this disposable world in which we are all living. it won't surprise me if the whole funeral thing isn't modernised soon.
oh i also think that these two look like a right couple of characters (so i guess that's two reasons for taking this shot)

had to get that second reason in quickly as i felt another rant coming on and it's been too nice a day to go and wind myself up with a rant just now.
