Lest We Forget...........

This photograph shows part of a plaque commemorating World War 2 on a statue in Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh, and is particularly poignant for two reasons. One, the faded flower next to the plaque which hasn't been replaced and two, I didn't take the time to look at the statue so don't know which one it is. I'm disappointed in myself.

I shall remedy this tomorrow by replacing the flower and adding a note to this entry stating which statue it is.
