Water, water, everywhere

Woke up this morning to find the kitchen sink (which was installed in March 1999) had developed a crack in the bottom.

Now we are waiting to see if the manufacturer will live up to their 20-year guarantee.

UPDATE: the manufacturer (ASTRACAST) has not honoured their 20-year guarantee by insisting that a third party has damaged the sink by impact or load bearing weight. Nonsense, but how can one disprove it?
