Spring

Just down the road from where we live, outside a hospital, are some of the most amazing flowering cherries (?) that I have ever seen. I have been watching them for many days now and today the buds blossomed. 2 days ago there was nothing and now there is an incredible blossom display.

Inevitably that means there is a storm brewing, every year the blossom get hammered by a southerly gale and rain, and occasionally snow. Hard to imagine when it as 20 deg today!

Highlight of the day, a St John CPR course with 14 others from work. I think the instructor was a little surprised to see my camera, he played up to it, posing mid "rescue" at times. Plus we got many silly "staff saves dummy" photos ;-).
