K is for ..... King of the Castle!

That's what I imagine this Dunnock was singing from its perch on the apex of the garage roof!! The classic 'little brown job' of the bird world doesn't half have a loud song. Our very own Pontycyclops has written about them in his brilliant RSPB blog.

Not much opportunity for photos today a) because it has been raining and b) because I slept for half of it!!! Surfaced around 12.30 this lunchtime - had hardly heard a thing since 11pm last night. Polar opposite of yesterday but I guess I needed the sleep.
