Yellow-crowned Night Heron

Driving through the wildlife refuge this morning just hoping to see something new...I drove up at the low water crossing to find this Yellow-crowned Night Heron. A new bird for my bird list. I was very excited. I watched him creeping slowly trying to catch him something good to eat till he was out of my sight. It has been a great morning!
