Scissortail Flycatcher

Out birding with my good friend Laurie, (same name as me), we went hunting for an Anahinga that we were told was in our area....which would be a rare find. Well that turned out to be a dud, but I did get a decent shot of a Belted Kingfisher and alot of shots of the Scissortail Flycatchers. I did get a new bird to add to my list which was a Northern Rough-winged Swallow. Wanted to share the SFC with all of you. It is such a beautiful bird that we have in our area during the spring and summer. I think it is one of my favorite birds of ALL birds.
