Easter Sunday

This morning the church looked lovely; the sanctuary was full; the music was special. Of the 52 Sundays each year, Easter is the best.


Then early afternoon we went to Ontario International Airport to rent a car, and about 4:25 we started our spring break journey. Once we got through Los Angeles, and north to Ventura, we saw the ocean for a while and then the highway turned inland. Tomorrow the road will take us back to the coast, and most of our week we plan to be dipping our toes in the water and making footprints in the sand.

For now, though, I've got a date with my pillow. It's late and I'm tired.
