Ah Yes! Lucky Me!

I just happen to have a wonderful brother who really loves me! I have no idea how he manages it, but he understands my love for Scottie Dogs and seems to always find some "little thing" Scottie themed for every holiday!

As I was examining the cute little chocolate cur, a memory came to mind. When I was a little girl, my mom used to take me downtown to the Betty Dixon candy store every Easter time. She would tell me and my brothers to each pick out a large chocolate treat for our baskets.

Yes, I was a contrary child, I suppose, as I had figured things out by age four, concerning things like Santa and the Easter Bunny!

And so, when I was a youngster perhaps eight or ten years old, I remember picking out a Scottie Dog. I remember my Scottie was pretty big! I told my mom today about that and I'm not sure she remembered.

Funny how seeing items can trigger memories...
