San Miguel de Allende Door

We spent today driving from Zihuatanajo to San Miguel de Allende, about seven hours in the car. San Miguel is famous for their Semana Santa processions and we are spending five days here in order to experience them first hand. They don't, however, take place until tomorrow, so I had to fill my lens with San Miguel's other claim to photographic fame, its colonial city architecture. I think there have been books created showcasing the doors and windows of this World Heritage City. Everywhere one looks, there is another door full of texture and color. It was difficult to choose just one, but that is the challenge of blipfoto and this was my choice today.
