Simple Beauty....
A few days ago, we were heading into a heavy frost that night, so I wandered down in the woods where my last two Daffodils were showing brightly in the sun.
I brought the two flowers up to the house and cut the stems really short. I placed them on the windowsill in the kitchen, in a tiny measuring cup, and every time I wash dishes, I find myself staring at these two simple flowers!
Brilliant me! This morning, I decided to photograph my flowers. I tried all sorts of different lighting, and I even tried different cameras! (yup, crazed!)
I finally settled on this photo. I liked the way the flowers look with the outdoor backlighting and although somewhat disturbed at the screen in the background at first, came to really like it after studying the photo a bit!
