Oscar's Cupcakes

I had friends over for lunch today (J with 7 month old baby I, and M). They came to meet O and bearing lovely gifts for him and food for us all. J had made some homemade soup (just in case I don't have time for cooking) and M had baked some delicious cupcakes, which were extra special as she had decorated them with O's name, date of birth and weight. Aren't they pretty?

It was nice having a good gossip over sandwiches and the children were all well behaved. Hubby escaped for a short while to get a haircut leaving us to the madness. And madness it was, as we picked today for H to stop wearing nappies. She did very well however, and I think we only had 1 proper accident and 2 partial accidents on the floor. She successfully managed about 8 pees and 1 poo in the toilet (she will not entertain a potty). Well done H!!!

O slept lots and cried very little as usual - he is a very good baby so far and the girls loved him. In the evenings this week, he has been a bit grouchy, possibly the start of colic, but it's not been too bad, and a bath seems to soothe him nicely. We stopped using the Gaviscon too to see if it makes any difference, so await the results.
