Curly Wurly

A day in the house today - hubby is still loaded with the cold and we are all tired. H and I watched The Gruffalo for the millionth time then had some fun splashing in the sink (tactic successfully employed to stop her decanting water from her cup into various other vessels in the living room, and inevitably getting it all over the place), and baked a banana and sultana loaf. H is enjoying helping around the house more and more so I find it good to involve her as much as possible as she really enjoys it. She is getting better at helping with the baking too - she didn't even try to lick the raw egg from the cup it was beaten in today!
She wanted to blow bubbles in her water, so as a reward for being such a helpful girl today, she got a new curly straw which she loved.

After dinner, we went to collect H's Papa from hospital as he had been in all day for tests. He told us he has to have heart bypass surgery so hopefully he will have an appointment in soon and it will go well.

The boys mostly slept today!
