Fault
The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars,
But in ourselves, that we are underlings.
--William Shakespeare, Julius Caesar, Act 1, Scene 2
The fault was mine today, apparently (there's that freakiness again). Went running errands all day today, here and there, etc. and had on my calendar a class this evening which last week we changed to 6pm to have more sun. I arrived and waited and my student didn't show. I called at 6:30 and nobody was home. I let a message and waited until 7 just in case they forgot. I left at 7:15. At 8:30 received a phone call from my student. "Isn't the class on Wednesday? That's when we met last week."
Duh. Well, then my wife asks me, "What time does that show end next Wednesday?" It's a show that I have a booth at. It ends at 6pm, the same time my class is supposed to start 16 miles away.
It's Monday, right?
So, while I was waiting I shot some photos. This seems to be an appropriate self portrait for the day.
