The Greatest Generation

This is a view of the Washington Monument, Old Glory, and pillars in the World War II Memorial. This was only my second trip to DC, the first one 14 years ago, and the WWII memorial was not built at that time. It was very important for me to see it this trip, as both of my grandfathers served during the war. It is beautiful and moving to behold.
