Ash tree

Spotted the fox again on my lunchtime walk but it was too far away to try and blip.

I get emails from UK Safari and when I saw these buds, I was reminded of one of their recent ones. They described buds that looked like blackberries on ash trees (Mystery fruits on ash trees) .
So, I think this may be an ash tree. Love the different textures on the two halves of the bud. Just a shame I didn't get a better photo.
