Another brick in the floor.

Took this when looking at the location of another care home with respite in mind. Am I mad, I think so.
I just need to have a place in mind to arrange something with should it become necessary if I needed a break at any time.

Actually had a phone call from the manageress from the care home mum went to last November. The place where they lost most of her clothes and sent her home in someone else's underwear.

She said she had written to me twice but when she took my address to confirm it was correct it turned out she'd been sending them to the wrong house. Not entirely sure I believe that. I think it is a convenient excuse.

Plus there have been countless times when someone could have phoned to confirm my address before writing.

She obviously was able to ring me as she rang me today. (Thursday).

She apologised and I accepted it but not before putting her straight on a few things.

One particular member of staff has since left she told me.

She said that they are willing to reimburse me for all the missing clothing. It is something but five months after the event and several contacts by the Quality Care Commission adds insult to injury.
