Giving It a Shot

Unfortunately I lack in the flower dept but I can spot beauty. Not sure what this flower is called so any input is appreciated. I was driving home after work and spotted these beautiful flowers on the opposite side of the road. Of course I made a u-turn, grabbed my NEW camera and started shooting. I'm barely acquainted with my camera so I didn't even know if I was doing it properly. Well here is the result.

On another note its Thursday night and I don't have to go to sleep early tonight......a 3 day weekend!!! My son Anthony will be turning 22 on Saturday and my grandbaby Ariah will be hunting for eggs on Easter Sunday. So yeah lots to look forward to this weekend.
