Ale fest
So, managed to make it to the north (for southerners, that's anywhere north of Birmingham), 211 miles in 3 hours and 9 minutes. Not bad considering it's Bank Holiday eve.
Naturally, spending any amount of time with my step father means partaking in the consumption of a dinky bit of alcohol. This dinky binge started this afternoon, with a trip to purchase some of Yorkshire's finest ale at the Copper Dragon Brewery in Skipton. He did spend most of his working life as a brewer so that gives us a legitimate excuse to sample as much as we can, doesn't it?
Looking forward to seeing my skin and blister tomorrow, it's been a while. Oh and giving my nephew a lesson on the golf course, or will it be vice versa....eek!
