$1000 Coke

My language teacher told me a story of her friend who went to China. One evening this friend went on a walk and came across a little shop where he decided to order a coke. After drinking it and resting a while, he asked for the bill. It was $1,000! When he refused to pay, a few big guys came out of the shop and took him to a back road where he had two options, pay or let them do whatever they were threatening in Chinese. He ended up paying the $1000 bill and going home with quite a story.

Next week, I'm going to China. I promised my language teacher I wouldn't order coke from any sketchy looking shops after dark. :)
