Double take

Wet and windy today. It snowed at 4.30am (don't ask me how I know) but the rain had cleared it by 7.30.
Simon (son) arrived at 9.30am. He is working from home for the next 2 days and staying for family get-together for Easter. I did the cleaning and ironing (gosh how exciting!) and jumped in the hide when the sun came out for a short while. I've been playing with water baths to get some close-ups of birds bathing but this GSWoodpecker decided to use the pond to drink. I still haven't seen a mate for him so hope he won't be on his own this year. He's a good dad and deserves a lady friend.
Off to Tesco's now to get 10 tons of food.
