J is for - Jewel of Nature
So the title is a bit contrived but hope you will humour me!
Had a day of appointments today - massage at 10.30, doctors at 11.50, hairdresser at 1.15 so was down town a fair bit. The Quaker Meeting House has a beautiful garden area which has lots of little jewels in it at the moment.
This skeletal Chinese Lantern was positively glowing in the sun. I can never remember the name of this plant - a type of Iris I know. Another jewel are these Coryadalis. The Kerria is alson in full bloom now - beautiful colour but can get out of hand.
In the centre of town the Spring bedding is looking lovely.
And one last photo which is rather fun. This sculpture advertises a local gallery.

P.S. Yesterday's entry had NO comments at all!!! It wasn't THAT boring was it? Even the box of Elastoplast got a comment!! LOL
