Boating For Pleasure

The Swanboats are back at Peasholm Park in Scarborough for the 2012 season.

One hundred years of boating for pleasure in the huge man-made lake.

Transported one by one by lorry from the nearby Winter storage, they were in demand today as we enjoyed one more day of hot sunny weather, forecast to be the last for a while, and strolling around Scalby this morning I saw much evidence of people making the most of the fine weather.

A barbeque lunch at home. Outdoor Lunches in the popular Tea Gardens. A sunbather. DIY. Gardening. Car cleaning. And rambling.

I don't yet have the confidence to point my camera at strangers for blipping purposes, so the blip is the Boating.
