Chiffchaff

I love it when a plan comes together!

600th blip today (can't believe it) ...

Two days after I did my RSPB Blog on warblers singing on high I manage to finally nail a shot of Chiffchaff in the tree tops. I did manage to get one of him singing his chiff-chaff-chiff-chaff song, but this was a slightly better one, with less shadows.

I went down to Newport Wetlands with Dawn and our friends Nia and Wayne. Glorious afternoon, with loads of visitors there. We had a long walk around the reserve getting the last bit of fresh air before the air turns really fresh again. A wintery blast is forecast in the run up for Easter!
