Bonfire Night!

Nothing like an April Fools day Blip heading!

This is one of natures fireworks. It is the new shoots on the Piris growing in my garden. They send out the most amazing red coloured leaves on the new growth. They always remind me an exploding firework with the splashes of crimson.

I've already blipped the flower of this plant back on March 17th. They are great nectar providers for the early bees. In fact there were three species on there when I took this photo.

The toothache, by and large, has been much better today. It's still pinging now and then, but not the continual pain I have had up until yesterday. Another day closer to getting it sorted out I suppose.
