Rain!

There was a moist feeling in the air all morning, and then around the middle of the afternoon it finally rained - well, more of a fine drizzle actually, but very welcome after the recent dry spell.

Here we see flowers of Blackthorn (Prunus spinosa) adorned with glistening drops of moisture.
