The Journey

Terminal 4...waking up in my pod. What a wonderful invention, if you get to stay at Yotel then do...compact and convenient. Checked in, munched scrambled eggs and bacon with a mug of tea and then raced through duty free for some toblerone before legging it onto the plane. Phew.

Good journey, despite a screaming 8 month old and having weird dreams that made me jolt out of my sleep and scare the crap out of the bloke next to me! Bahrain arrival at 6.30pm with a planned connection at 00:35...which became 02:45. Ouch. Scoffed this little lot, drank a shed load of tea and read a Julian Barnes novel...bloody brilliant. Then on to the Kathmandu flight...
