The Making of Harry Potter
It's been a magical day - if you pardon the pun!
It's an early evening blip from me today - in preparation for tonight however the day has been that good I'd happily go to bed now!
I had an early start and the alarm that woke myself and Gemma up at 8am was less than welcome however at 9am Noddy arrived, myself and Gem said goodbye and the trip to Hertfordshire to 'The Making of Harry Potter' began.
Upon arrival at Watford Junction station we boarded the Harry Potter tour bus and headed to the Warner Bros Studios.
There were genuine whoops of excitement - not only from Noddy but the packed bus as the studios came into sight.
We walked into the lobby - had a quick nose around the gift shop - and then our tour began.
After watching a short cinema screen introduction from Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint the screen lifted and the entrance to the great hall was upon us.
Walking in is just like being in Hogwarts - and the entrance is the perfect beginning to the rest of the day.
The two sound stages that the exhibition is based in were truly breathtaking with a mast array of props, creatures and other items to look at.
We spent a good 3 hours strolling round taking photos and learning about the film - a broom ride was even taken along with a trip in a flying car.
The photo is taken from the Hogwarts set - a huge model that's well worth seeing!
After the tour some of the films stars and other celebrities walked the red carpet.
I had brought some limited edition art work from the shop and both Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) and Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) signed it for me. Tom even said what a cool piece of art it was.
The day was complete when I checked to see Coventry had got their first away win of the season in Hull - a 2-0 win. Perhaps that spell I put on in the store using a wand had worked! :)
A big thanks to Noddy for the tickets today has to be done - good work sir!
I'm now on the train home - then its time to get ready and head out!
Perhaps another pic of today tomorrow when I load my camera pics onto my laptop.
