Pussy willow

A few catkins have opened on the goat willow in the corner of the garden. I haven't got many because the tree was heavily pruned again last year, but it's nice to see signs of spring, even if the warm weather has gone for a while.

I went to visit two of my cousins today - one is over from Canada with her husband visiting the other. I haven't seen them for about 5 years so it was lovely to catch up with them all again.
