What a bargain !!

Eve has a new bike.. new to her,went to the tip/dump/refuse centre... well Mr W and Eve did as we cleared out the garage and whilst they were there they spied at the Hospice shop this bike for the mighty sum of £10.... good brakes,a bit grubby and well loved but £10 to go to our local hospice anyway... what a bargain !!! Eve always HATED bicycles so we never brought one after she was about 5 as she flatly refused to use it.However since 'knee gate' when Flora taught Eve to ride a bike again she has pestered us for a bicycle.. so we thought if she uses this one she can have a brand new fancy one for Christmas and I won't worry about a large amount of money being wasted :D
Left my pit (bed) at around 11am this morning,as did the children,then operation clear out garage,I pottered and sorted washing,walked the dogs,took Lucy to Joel's party... made scones,collected Lucy and eaten a rather lovely evening meal... looking forward to watching The Voice on BBC1 this evening,makes a refreshing change from the contrived pantomimes that ITV churn out.
