Great Crested Grebe..........

Well yesterday we walked around in shirt sleeves, today its at least a coat colder.
The strategy was to find an opening in some waterside bushes, and just sit and wait for a decent shot of a Grebe...............Of course there was always the chance that the Grebes may have moved to a different lake from where we saw them yesterday.
And so it was, three and a half hours sat in the cold, not a Grebe to be seen anywhere..........
Ironicaly, while we were walking back to the hotel, i managed to get a few shots of this Grebe on a different lake to the one we' d been sat by.
Sod's Law i guess.......
Still not close enough to get a real detailed shot, but its far and away better than my last encounter with a Great Crested Grebe........
As long as i have this passion inside for my avian friends i'll keep trying to get a better shot.........
