Filtration

Now nearly dry, this is part of the filtration process which takes water from Winter Hill and the surrounding moor. So little rain that there's already been a couple of fires, probably maliciously started, which is so damaging to the wildlife at this critical breeding time. A short outing this morning to allow time to visit a friend recovering from illness. Felt really good to be running without pain this morning, reached the trigpoint easily and a good run off. The skylarks were singing and the curliews calling. A great day to be out :)
