Meanwhile, I saw this image from the South Bank and right smack there between Big Ben and The Embankment buildings is my former office, the tower, when I was head of marketing communications for Transport for London 10 years ago. I shall continue to feel dismayed at the lack of a responsible, sustainable transport system in LA and the seemingly senseless adding to the number of freeway lanes, when light rail has proven to be a viable alternative.

I've been having this thing, and this week especially, that I want a greener, less urban life.
