Got Milk?

Reuben and his Gtube. This pose is so utterly Reu: he quietly purveys all that is about him, with fingers in mouth for added concentration.

Good school day with Callum, happy school day for Reu.

I ask him,

"What are the names of your friends?"
He replies, "Paul and Paul and Paul".

Running round the garden, weather's hot, think it's a snake, but it's actually a lizard with a funny tail.

Reuben's imitating me saying "darling" which I guess I use rather a lot.

Callum's saying "water" with an American accent as in "waDer" but corrects himself and then pronounces the "t". I know, I know. I can hold out only so long.

They both start the day singing and signing
"Good morning to you", Reuben continuing "Our day is beginning, there's so much to". You're blooming right.

The Double Act
A really fantastic day

On the lens: the 50/1.4 is such a huge leap forward from the 1.8, especially in terms of quick focusing, never mind the added light. And because I've mostly been using the 85/1.8 for portraits, I'm enjoying the additional room and scene. Love it.
